Timmy waits near the window for his school wagon to pick him up. He lives on a dead end street and the wagon will not come to his home to pick him up. Timmy often uses this for a reason for skipping school.

Timmy sleeps on the couch of his living room a few weeks before Christmas, after a guest of his mother's got tired of him playing around and told him to go to sleep late one night.

Timmy and his best friend Eric, call their girlfriends outside of a bowling ally in Rockville. The boys do not have a curfew and sometimes stay out till early morning on school nights roaming the streets.

Timmy relaxes on his couch with his cat one evening while waiting for his mother to come home from bowling. Timmy played with the cat and watched T.V. till midnight before she showed up.

Timmy's homeroom teacher explains to Timmy that she is not upset with him for breaking up a fight in her classroom earlier. But she reminded him that it was not the best judgement to get involved in the fight.

Timmy's math teacher tries to get an answer from Timmy on why he skipped school the day before, but Timmy did not want to answer her, and began to cry to himself when she pushed him for an answer.

Timmy's sister's boyfriend, Al, bites Timmy's fingers as he forces him to put on his coat and leave for school. Al stayed at the house for a few months before getting kicked out.
