Denver and Englewood firemen work from a boat to locate the body of David Thompson, 5, in the lake at the Wellshire golf course. David and a playmate fell through ice on the lake while trying to get some golf balls. After a 1 1/4 hour search, the firemen recovered David's body and they worked another hour in a futile effort to revive him.
