A Lebanese woman, Jinan, prepares her make-up in a hotel room in in the port city of Tyre, Lebanon. Jinan is from the Bekaa Valley, east of Beirut, which was severely damaged by Israeli bombardment during the July war. Predominantly Lebanese Shia, the Bekaa region is known for its strong presence of Hezbollah.
