Caption/Description

Whalers in Churchill, Manitoba were hired to catch a young male and female Beluga Whale for the new zoo in Applevalley, MN, near Minneapolis. The whalers would jump the whales and try to slip a noose around the whales head and then the second jumper would lasso the tail. After the two were caught they were transported back to Minneapolis on a 737 in special crates.
